This journal is a bit more positive than the last one. :P This phase I'm going through is nowhere near my darkest time, and I've experienced far worse. Nevertheless, it's a bit of a pain and I'm having trouble overcoming my personal demons, but I have a supportive and lovely network of kind, sincere people who want to help which is both heartening and a huge privilege.

It's that time of the month for me right now. I can't believe I didn't see it coming - I was getting grumpy/sad for no reason, craving chocolate, feeling really dizzy, and my skin got all blotchy and gross (it's usually very clear. I don't really suffer from skin problems.) And then BAM - Texas Chainsaw Massacre in my pants. Thanks, hormones, for reminding me I'm female. :|

Saw the Backstreet Boys at the London O2 Arena with my cousins last night. They put on a really good show and played all their best, cheesiest songs :D I didn't even know I was going until 8AM the same day when Rebecka asked me if I wanted to come with (one of her friends dropped out at the last minute.) Impromptu concerts = good times.

I have an action-packed weekend lined up as it is cheerleading initiation. I am a bit nervous, but the challenges look like good fun! The theme is "tribal" - we are wearing carnage tee shirts (with tickboxes for each initiation challenge) and customising them to look... jungly! Messy hair, animal print and general craziness with my fellow cheerleaders... and cheer socials are always mental, so I look forward to it!

My courses are going fairly well at the moment. I got 90%, 90% and 95% in three online tests and got 1% off a first in my Italian assignment. I hope things continue this way and that I achieve my potential. I want to get the most out of uni both socially and educationally!
