UPDATE 26/10: See you all tomorrow, guys!
UPDATE 24/10: Just a little reminder that the meet is this Saturday. See you all then, I hope!
By the way, the tube lines which go to London Bridge station are the
Northern and
Jubilee lines. Thanks to *
babyhippy123 for asking me! You are still welcome to come if you aren't on the list. Everyone, non-deviants also included, is welcome.
UPDATE 10/09: Thanks so far to everyone who's expressed an interest in turning up. Feel free even to bring non-deviant friends along to join in the fun and tell anyone who might want to come here on dA - hope you can all make it!
Just a light-hearted note to remind those attending that this is a costume party since it'll be four days in advance of Hallowe'en -
you do not have to wear a costume although it would be lots more fun to turn up in wacky outfits! A "costume" can be anything from a silly hat to a full-blown cosplay extravaganza. Get creative and show London just how much fun us deviants can have!
Feel free to comment here if you have any ideas of what you'd like to go as, or any suggestions you might have for anyone who may not feel entirely sure about wearing a costume - or which one! I know that a few of us are planning to turn up in Harry Potter-related attire - in which case, what character are you going to be? I know that *
thesinisterpenguin already has a Dumbledore outfit in the works!
UPDATE 19/08: Well, I've had an excellent response and a long list of those interested/attending already, which is really encouraging! Thanks for your interest - be sure to ask around for people who may want to come along with you.
One thing I've found is that, alongside the usual, awesome devMEET regulars, this meet seems to have a lot of newbies for whom this will be their first time. That's fantastic, as it'll be fun to bring some variety into the scheme of things and I'm certain you guys will have just as much fun as everybody else.
To help devMEET virgins with arranging their arrival and participation at this meet, please read *
raygirl and ^
maxwell-heza's
Guide To devMEETs which is a great source of information for anyone planning to turn up.

After having a second poll over what we end up doing, we had
another tie. I've decided to choose the
London Dungeon, because it is the option which takes the less time, and the one which is most relevant to Hallowe'en activities.
Admission to the Dungeons is
£20 for adults, £16 for students (with valid ID.) If this is too expensive for you, or you just don't want to see the Dungeons, you can meet up with us later at the Met.
If you are interested in making it to the meet, please comment here, or contact me through Note, or any other way you can think of letting me know. If you're on
Facebook, there'll be an invitation on there as well, so feel free to notify me of your plans that way!

Hallowe'en devMEET, Saturday 27th October - Itinerary
Here's a basic plan for what we're intending to do.
Please note that because of difficulties some deviants may have getting to London, I've changed the times to make things easier.
12:30-12:45PM: Meet up at London Bridge tube station at Tooley Street, then make our way up the road to the
London Dungeon. We will have to be at the Dungeon for the tour at 1:00PM, so please be there on time! Those who want to can turn up in costume, in the spirit of Hallowe'en.
1:00-3:30PM: The tour of the Dungeons should take around two and a half hours. We'll then take the tube to Baker Street Station, where the Met Bar is right next door.
4:00PM onwards: Meet up with any deviants who didn't visit the Dungeon in the Met Bar. Get trashed, or, if you're under 18/not a big drinker, lol at the people falling over and making twats of themselves.
Please let me know if you have any further ideas or queries. Remember to add yourself to the Interested/Attending list if you are thinking of going to this devMEET! I really want it to be a success, so please tell other UK deviants about the meet.
Hoping to see you all there,
Sarah xox

I was really bummed about not making it to the Cardiff meet. Sounds like everyone had an amazing time, as always. XD Still, there's always next year!
